Privacy Policy

Your birth data deserves careful handling.

Your birth information is personal. MindConstellation™ treats it that way.

This Privacy Policy explains what information MindConstellation™ collects, why we use it, how it moves through our systems, when it may be retained, who may receive it, and the choices available to you.

This Policy applies to the MindConstellation™ website, chart-generation tools, accounts, waitlists, and other services that link to this Policy.

MindConstellation™ is operated by Jazzed And Motivated, PLLC, referred to in this Policy as “MindConstellation™,” “we,” “us,” or “our.”

1. Information We Collect

The information we collect depends on how you use MindConstellation™.

Birth and Chart Information

To generate a natal chart, we currently collect:

• name or nickname;
• birth date;
• exact birth time, when known;
• whether the birth time is unknown; and
• birth city or location.

We use the birth location you provide to determine information needed for chart calculation, which may include:

• city, region, and country;
• latitude and longitude;
• time zone;
• UTC offset;
• daylight-saving-time information; and
• astronomical calculation metadata.

MindConstellation™ does not require a street address to calculate your natal chart.

Account Information

If you create a MindConstellation™ account, we may collect:

• display name;
• email address;
• password; and
• account and login information.

Passwords are not stored in readable form. They are salted and hashed for authentication.

MindConstellation™ accounts are intended for users age 13 and older.

Saved Charts

If you are logged into an account when you generate or save a chart, the submitted birth profile may be associated with your account so that you can access it later.

The person whose birth information appears in a saved chart is not necessarily the person who owns or operates the account.

Email and Waitlist Information

If you choose to join a MindConstellation™ waitlist or request product updates, we may collect:

• your email address;
• the product or report you are interested in;
• the date of your signup; and
• a visitor identifier used by our first-party analytics system.

Joining a marketing or product-update list is separate from generating a chart or creating an account.

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.

Contact Form Information

If you send us a message through the contact form, we collect the name, email address, topic, and message you submit so that we can receive and respond to your inquiry.

Usage and Technical Information

MindConstellation™ uses first-party analytics to understand how the service is being used.

This may include:

• a randomly generated visitor identifier;
• a session identifier;
• pages or application paths visited;
• date and time of activity;
• general referral or traffic source;
• product interests;
• whether a chart was generated successfully;
• whether birth time was known; and
• technical error or failure information.

Our current analytics system does not use your raw birth date, birth time, birthplace, name, calculated planets, houses, aspects, or chart results as analytics properties.

Our hosting and network infrastructure may also process ordinary technical information such as IP address, browser or device information, request paths, and similar server metadata.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use information collected through MindConstellation™ to:

• calculate natal charts;
• resolve birth locations and historical time information;
• determine chart houses, angles, planetary positions, and aspects;
• operate and maintain MindConstellation™;
• provide account and saved-chart features;
• recognize previously calculated chart inputs;
• avoid unnecessarily repeating identical astronomical calculations;
• maintain the accuracy and consistency of chart calculations;
• understand product usage and performance;
• troubleshoot errors;
• protect accounts and the service from misuse;
• administer waitlists and requested product updates;
• communicate with you when you request communication from us; and
• comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not use your birth information for unrelated advertising purposes.

3. How Guest Birth Data Is Handled

You do not currently need an account for MindConstellation™ to calculate a chart.

Anonymous chart generation does not use an age gate.

Because visitors may generate charts for themselves or other people, the birth date associated with a natal chart represents the chart subject and does not necessarily represent the age of the person currently using MindConstellation™.

When a guest successfully generates a chart, MindConstellation™ creates a canonical chart-input record.

That record may contain:

• birth date;
• birth-time status;
• exact birth time, if provided;
• resolved city, region, and country;
• latitude and longitude;
• time-zone information; and
• astronomical calculation metadata.

The canonical guest record does not contain the name or nickname entered on the chart form or an account ID.

We retain this canonical calculation information so that when the same chart inputs are submitted again, MindConstellation™ can recognize and reuse previously resolved calculation information rather than unnecessarily repeating the entire resolution and calculation process.

Because a combination of birth date, time, and location may still be capable of identifying or being linked to a person, we treat this information as personal data even when it is not connected to a MindConstellation™ account.

4. Calculated Chart Results

MindConstellation™ uses the information you provide to calculate chart information such as planetary positions, houses, angles, and aspects.

In the current public chart-generation flow, calculated chart results are returned to your browser for display but are not separately persisted as a complete calculated-chart record by the public generation route.

Canonical input and calculation-reference information may still be retained as described above.

5. Birthplace and Chart Calculation Services

MindConstellation™ currently performs its core location resolution, time-zone resolution, and astronomical chart calculations through internal or locally operated resources.

Birthplace searches use a local GeoNames-derived geographic database rather than sending your birth location to a live third-party geocoding provider.

Time-zone resolution and Swiss Ephemeris astronomical calculations are also performed through the application's calculation system rather than by transmitting your birth profile to an outside astrology website.

6. Artificial Intelligence

MindConstellation™'s current public chart-generation process does not send your birth information or chart information to OpenAI or another large-language-model provider.

Current public report generation is not active.

If MindConstellation™ later introduces a feature that materially changes how personal information is processed by an AI or other external provider, we will update our privacy disclosures as appropriate before or when that processing begins.

7. Analytics

MindConstellation™ currently uses a custom first-party analytics system rather than a third-party behavioral analytics platform.

A randomly generated visitor identifier may be stored in your browser so that visits can be recognized over time. A separate session identifier may be used during an individual browser session.

We use this information to understand matters such as:

• which parts of MindConstellation™ are being used;
• whether chart generation succeeds or fails;
• interest in upcoming products;
• general traffic sources; and
• how the service is performing.

We do not currently use this analytics system to build advertising profiles from your natal chart or birth information.

8. Cookies and Browser Storage

MindConstellation™ may use cookies and browser storage for functionality including:

• account sessions;
• analytics visitor and session identifiers;
• accessibility preferences;
• temporary product selections; and
• other features necessary to maintain a requested session or preference.

You may be able to remove certain browser-stored information through your browser settings. Removing storage or cookies may cause some features, preferences, or account sessions to stop working as expected.

9. When We Share Information

We do not sell your birth data or personal information.

We do not currently use personal information for cross-site targeted advertising.

Information may be processed or disclosed in limited circumstances such as:

Service Providers

We may use companies that provide infrastructure or technical services necessary to operate MindConstellation™.

Depending on the feature used, these may include categories such as:

• web hosting and infrastructure providers;
• font and content-delivery providers;
• security or technical service providers; and
• email-delivery providers used to route contact messages, requested updates, and transactional account notifications; and
• payment processors if paid services become available.

These providers may receive information necessary to perform their services.

External Website Resources

Certain fonts or visual resources may be loaded from external providers.

When your browser requests those resources, the provider may receive ordinary network information such as your IP address, browser information, requested resource, and potentially referring-page information.

We do not intentionally transmit your natal chart birth profile to these providers.

Legal and Safety Reasons

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to:

• comply with applicable law or valid legal process;
• protect the rights, safety, or security of MindConstellation™, our users, or others;
• investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents; or
• establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Business Transactions

If MindConstellation™ or its relevant assets are involved in a merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing, sale, or similar transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction subject to applicable law.

10. Email Communications

If you voluntarily subscribe to MindConstellation™ announcements, waitlists, product launches, or similar marketing communications, we may use the email address you provide for those purposes.

You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe method provided in the message.

Unsubscribing from marketing messages does not necessarily stop transactional communications relating to an account, purchase, security matter, or service you specifically requested.

If account-message notifications are enabled, we may send a transactional email to let you know that a new private message is waiting in your MindConstellation™ dashboard. The private dashboard message itself is not included in that notification email.

We may retain limited information necessary to record and honor an unsubscribe request and prevent a person who opted out from being unintentionally resubscribed.

11. Data Retention

We retain different categories of information for different purposes.

Canonical Chart Inputs

Canonical birth and chart-input records may be retained for as long as MindConstellation™ continues to use them to support chart calculation, normalization, deduplication, calculation reuse, integrity, and related service operations.

Account and Saved-Chart Information

Account information may be retained while an account remains active and afterward when reasonably necessary for security, legal, dispute-resolution, or operational purposes.

Saved-chart information may remain associated with an account until it is deleted or is otherwise no longer needed.

Deleting a saved chart from the account library currently removes the account-linked copy but does not automatically remove an underlying canonical calculation-input record.

Waitlist and Marketing Information

Active subscriber information may be retained while you remain subscribed.

If you unsubscribe, we may retain limited information necessary to record and honor your opt-out preference.

Analytics and Technical Information

Analytics, security, and technical records may be retained for a limited period appropriate to product analysis, security, troubleshooting, fraud prevention, and system integrity.

Aggregated or de-identified information that no longer reasonably identifies an individual may be retained for longer periods.

Legal Requirements

We may retain information longer where necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, or protect legal rights.

12. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect personal information appropriate to the nature of the information and our systems.

For example, account passwords are salted and hashed rather than stored as readable passwords, and account sessions use security controls designed to reduce unauthorized access.

No website, database, network, or electronic transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Accordingly, we do not promise absolute security.

13. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, the laws that apply to MindConstellation™, and the circumstances of the processing, you may have rights concerning your personal information.

These may include the right to:

• confirm whether we process your personal data;
• request access to personal data we maintain about you;
• correct inaccurate personal data;
• request deletion of qualifying personal data;
• obtain a portable copy of certain personal data;
• obtain information about categories of third parties to which data has been disclosed;
• opt out of qualifying sales of personal data;
• opt out of qualifying targeted advertising; and
• opt out of certain automated profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

MindConstellation™ does not currently sell personal data or use it for cross-context targeted advertising.

We will respond within the period required by applicable law.

If applicable law gives you a right to appeal a decision regarding a privacy request, you may submit an appeal by contacting us at the same address and identifying the request as a Privacy Appeal.

14. Information About Other People

Users may generate natal charts for themselves or other people.

The birth date associated with a chart identifies the chart subject and must not automatically be treated as the age, identity, or personal information of the person operating the MindConstellation™ account or browser.

You should only submit another person's birth information when you have permission or other appropriate authority to do so.

Please use appropriate care when entering or storing another person's personal information.

15. Children and Minors

MindConstellation™ is a general-audience service and is not specifically directed to children under 13.

Because users may generate natal charts for themselves or other people, the birth date associated with a chart does not necessarily represent the age of the person using MindConstellation™.

Anonymous chart generation is therefore not restricted based on the age of the chart subject.

MindConstellation™ accounts are intended for individuals age 13 and older.

A chart subject may be any age.

MindConstellation™ does not use a chart subject's birth date to infer the age of the account holder, website visitor, email subscriber, purchaser, or research participant.

If we learn that personal information has been collected directly from a child under 13 in circumstances requiring special children's-privacy protections, we will take appropriate steps to comply with applicable law.

16. Neurodivergence, Mental Health, and Other Research

MindConstellation™ does not currently enroll ordinary users in research simply because they generate a chart, create an account, join a mailing list, save a chart, or purchase a product.

Future MindConstellation™ research may include areas such as:

• neurodivergence;
• ADHD;
• autism;
• executive functioning;
• cognition;
• attention;
• sensory processing;
• mental health;
• psychological experiences;
• behavioral patterns;
• emotional functioning; and
• other human-trait or chart-correlation research.

Participation in MindConstellation™ human-participant research is limited to individuals age 18 and older.

Research participation will be separate from ordinary MindConstellation™ product use.

Before research begins, eligible participants will receive an appropriate separate research participation notice and consent process describing matters such as:

• the purpose of the research;
• information collected;
• chart information used;
• self-report or other participant information collected;
• how information may be linked, coded, separated, aggregated, or de-identified;
• retention;
• withdrawal procedures;
• publication or aggregate use, when applicable; and
• applicable research oversight.

Ordinary acceptance of this Privacy Policy, the Terms of Use, account creation, chart generation, purchases, saving a chart, or joining a mailing list does not constitute agreement to participate in research.

Information belonging to a chart subject under age 18 must not be enrolled in MindConstellation™ research merely because another person generated or saved that chart.

17. Changes to This Privacy Policy

MindConstellation™ is actively developing, and our features and data practices may change over time.

We may update this Privacy Policy when we introduce new features, begin collecting new categories of personal information, change how information is used or shared, adopt new providers, or when legal requirements change.

When we make material changes, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent when required by applicable law.
